APB beta in 'a few weeks'

The new gangster MMO from Realtime Worlds, 'All Points Bulletin' (APB), will be entering its beta testing phase very soon. The developers, which also created Crackdown, states that beta period begins a few weeks, and not a few months.

We're weeks rather than months away from starting closed beta," said Chris Collins, the company's community officer.

Beta registration is currently open on the game's official website.

The final version does not have a concrete release date at this time but will likelihood we'll see it in early 2010 for PC. A console version is also being discussed for a later date.
