Spore finally dated

But it's been a long time coming with no real sign of a firm release date, however today Electronic Arts has announceda release date.
The good news is that Europe will get the game first, on September 5th 2008, with a US release to follow on September 7th.
That date is for the PC version, but expect to see the Sims creator's game on every format under the sun in short order.
