Half-Life 2 Episode 3 confirmed

The third and final episode is due at the end of 2007.

Valve has announced that the second expansion to Half-Life 2 will be released at the end of 2006 with the third and final part completing the trilogy in time for Christmas 2007.

The developer has also announced that Half-Life 2: Episode One has gone gold and will be released on Thursday June 1 via Valve's Steam online distribution service for $19.99 and in boxed retail form by Electronic Arts.
